Hi, I'm Georgia Hicks. My husband Eddie and I had triplet girls in May of 1983 and they were my first children. I was not taking fertility pills and at the time my husband and I were not thinking about having kids yet. Boy were we surprised. I found out there were twins when I was 4 months. My doctor did check me for another baby at 5 months because I grew so much in 1 month but the sonogram still only showed 2 babies. I had an x-ray taken on May 5 and that is when we found out there were 3. I carried them to full term and they were taken by cesearan on May 12. The girls were fine and could have gone home the next day but I was not so good. Just basically worn out. They weighed 6lbs. 2oz., 5lbs. 4oz., and 5lbs. 2oz. We named them Kelly, Kerry, and Kristy. They are one of my greatest joys in life. They are all in college and are really good people. I have raised them to be independent and to take care of themselves. They are also very vocal. Life has definitely been an adventure. I do have another child, a boy born in 1989 who is the other joy of my life.
